A downloadable thingamabob for macOS

This is a game that I made when I was experimenting with the Infinite Mac Macintosh Emulator around September 2023.  I was a bit more ambitious with this particular game with program than I was with The Open Door.  Also, this version of the 8 ball has half the amount of responses that a Magic  8 ball has due my limited knowledge of the programming language that Director uses (Lingo).

Made using Macromedia Director 6 running on Mac OS 9.0.4

Install instructions

THIS GAME WILL NOT RUN ON ANY VERSION OF MACOS NEWER THAN 10.1

(Only follow these instructions if you aren't using authentic Classic Mac OS Hardware)

  1. Go to The Infinite Mac Emulator (wait for the OS to boot up)
  2. Click "Load File" (appears when hovering over the Home button)
  3. Select the .sit file list in the download files
  4. Go to The Outside World and Downloads where the file should be located
  5. Drag The .sit file to "Macintosh HD"
  6. Click the .sit file to extract it
  7. Click the extracted folder
  8. Select "The Magic 8 Ball"
