A downloadable thingamabob for macOS

This is a game that I made when I was experimenting with the Infinite Mac Macintosh Emulator around August 2023.  It's not very good, but I'm quite proud of my self for being able to make a game using a 28 year old program that I've never used in my life up to that point.

Made using Macromedia Director 6 running on Mac OS 9.0.4

Install instructions

THIS GAME WILL NOT RUN ON ANY VERSION OF MACOS NEWER THAN 10.1

(Only follow these instructions if you aren't using authentic Classic Mac OS Hardware)

  1. Go to The Infinite Mac Emulator (wait for the OS to boot up)
  2. Click "Load File" (appears when hovering over the Home button)
  3. Select the .sit file list in the download files
  4. Go to The Outside World and Downloads where the file should be located
  5. Drag The .sit file to "Macintosh HD"
  6. Click the .sit file to extract it
  7. Click the extracted folder
  8. Select "The Open Door"
